For this project, I wanted to play with the idea of themable elements on a ride without going to heavily into theming in NL2 because I still wanted to coaster to stand on it's own, and thus Peril Peak was born. This is a Gerstlauer Eurofighter heavily inspired by Mystery Mine at Dollywood, with the idea of expanding the rides ending after the largest drop and using the potential energy of the highest point on the ride. With unique profiling techniques and a modified heartline, this coaster has both the tight drops and large inversions of a classic large scale eurofighter, and a surprise ending that keeps riders guessing until the final break run.
