This is the arrival of ‘USS New Jersey’ nuclear submarine at Naval Weapons Station Earle, passing by Sandy Hook, on Friday Sep 6, 2024. Many made the difficult hike of a mile over soft sand to Sandy Hook’s North Beach to see and celebrate its arrival. USS NJ arrived right on time, with military precision. Excitement and amazement was all around. One can only imagine the pride that the sailors felt!

Sorry about my shaky camera; I should have had a tripod. There was no chance of asking for ‘Take II’.
