This vehicle is used to move train, trams, locos or coaches, as well as bogies from under lifted up trains. It is used in railway maintenance depots.
The shunter is road / rail, using the same four wheels to drive on the road as the rail. All four wheels are driven and steering. This makes the vehicle highly manoeuvrable, it can crab and spin on the spot.
The vehicle can pull up to 500 tonnes and can be equipped with different coupler types and compressors if required.
Power comes from batteries with and onboard charger. The vehicle is operated by a radio remote control.
