Here's a short video on how to install the outlet cover plate with LED night lights. As you'll see on the video, it is a very simple process to install these. These covers only work with standard 2-gang outlets that have side screws as you'll see. They also will not work with GFI type outlets.
These covers have a sensor that turn on the LEDs when it becomes dark. They stay on the entire time until it becomes bright enough to turn them off either with artificial light or the sun.
These lights have these benefits:
- LEDs have a long life so, this product will work for a long time
- Provide adequate lighting in hallways and areas that may be treacherous when walking in the dark
- They free up the two outlets. Some night lights take up one of the outlets and leave only one available
