Vice President Venkaiah Naidu has jumped into the raging debate over language. Speaking at an event in Chennai, Naidu said that 'every Indian language is rich & we must promote mother tongue'. He also called for no imposition of any language and no opposition to any language. He said this while sharing a stage with Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin who had sought an official status for Tamil like Hindi while sharing the stage with PM Modi last Thursday.
