This deck is designed to effectively utilize the new NR cards without going the route of Dwimveandra spam on Drakenborg. Instead, the main payoff for Sigi is in transferring his boost via Drakenborg to one of the dueler cards, either Seltkirk or Prince Anseis, significantly extending the reach of their removal without forgoing the double deck-boost value on Sigi beforehand. Drakenborg can also be useful as a means of preserving your boost carryover from Sigi (albeit on board rather than in deck) while still allowing you to use him and his order in an earlier round, with the aid of a purify and a leader charge of course.
