The fear.

The fear of slowing down.

We keep jumping from a task to another.
While friends and strangers fight to survive.
We keep juggling with a mask or another.

The fear of a short breath.
Fear of ignorance and madness.
The fear of all this mess.
Fear of silence and sadness.

Of course there will be knots to untie.
How many times this string will I tangle?
But choose to dream, to fail why not, just try!
How many rhymes before I’d find a new angle.

You got some rage, violence, that’s normal.
Just get it out creatively.
No need a stage, nor audience approval.
Just shout it out even briefly.

Here, now, share, play.
How real is fear day after day?

What is life? Love? Fight? Freedom?
We must be mute, let’s just kneel and breathe.
What means soul? Wrong? Right? Wisdom
For a minute, let’s just feel and freeze.
