ISALENTO: best place for SUMMER VACATION in South Italy. If you are looking for the Best place in south Italy to spend your summer vacation then you should definitely consider Salento! It is on the southest point of Puglia region (The Heel of Italy) and it is not very well known by international tourists. Therefore you can still find affordable prices to spend your vacation here compare to the rest of Italy.

Salento is well known for crystalline water and an enormous quantity of beaches to visit. Also here you can find 2 seas! Yes as it is the southest point of Puglia, you can swim either on the Adriatic sea or either on the Ionian sea. It is a good thing as when it's windy from one side, it is calm from the other and so you will never miss good calm days at the beach.

In this vlog we have been visiting Alimini, Otranto, Faraglioni di Sant'Andrea and I've included also some clips from Lecce, Maldives of Salento and few other places.

We stayed at Basiliani Resort, was not impressed. 300$ per night for such a pretty standard room and the service was very bad.
