Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at the Durabilt 16 foot long E Track tie-down straps with the ratchet and the wire hooks, has a gray color, and 1,000 pound working load limit. Now, this two-piece polyester strap is equipped with steel ends that are designed to fit into vertical or horizontal E Tracks that are installed in your enclosed cargo trailer. And just to give you an idea of what we're talking about, there's what an E Track would look like. And these steel ends right here you can see are what are designed to snap into those, but also what's nice if you look closely, they also include the double J hooks on each end to offer attachment options. So you can either use the double J hooks or the E Track.
Now, the ratcheting buckle right here, this will tighten and lock the strap in place to secure whatever you're carrying. The strap dimension is two inches. The overall length on this one if put together is 16 feet. The short end, which is the one with the ratchet on it, is four feet in length. This does have a maximum load or brake strength of 3,000 pounds.
The safe working load limit is a third of that, so 1,000 pounds. And one note I do wanna mention that tie-down straps must be chosen according to their safe working load limit. The weight of the secured cargo must not exceed the combined working load limit of the straps that are being used. So just to give you an example, if you're using straps that have a working load limit of 500 pounds each, and you're gonna tie down a load weighing 1,000 pounds, then you're gonna need at least two straps to safely secure that load. And it is always recommended that you always use straps in pairs.
But that should do it for a look at this Durabilt 16 foot long E Track tie-down strap with the ratchet and the wire hooks in the gray color.
