Here is 5 minutes of me rambling on about all thats going on in the tropics today. First and foremost Kalmaegi also known as Ramon in the Philippines is set to bring alot of rain in northern Luzon still. The actual intensity of this storm is still up for debate as JTWC keeps it a tropical storm with JMA being the more aggressive one for once and forecasting it to become a typhoon this week. I would like to lean more towards JTWC in this scenario though as there is a lot of wind shear interacting with it. Granted this still shouldn't change the forecast and rain will be the big issue. Also in this video I discuss the possibility of a new storm I been hinting at for a few days now. With more numerical models on board it seems the Philippines could be in for another storm next week.
