It's fascinating to think that we are riding the earth as it rotates on its axis as it orbits around the sun! And as all of this goes on, the earth also tilts slightly. The winter solstice, here in the northern hemisphere, marks the time at which the earth is tilted farthest away from the sun. This gives us our shortest day and longest night.
We can use this to our advantage to help us step into 2020 with clarity!
By aligning with nature we honor the forces that created and that sustain us.
Taking a little time on the solstice to practice gratitude for the past year is the first step. Then set a firm resolve, a san kalpa, for what you want to manifest in 2020. Make it specific and phrased like it's already happening; like "I am perfect health" "I am loved" or "I handle challenges with ease."
Be assured that as the light returns to our lives your san kalpa will continue to work; bringing clarity to your deeds always leads to more good stuff!
Happy Winter Solstice!
