How to Connect Corrugated Pipe to Corrugated Pipe. What coupler should you use?
I'm going to keep this really simple for you guys. When you're running a solid pipe for roof runoff downspouts and you know you're going to have debris, pine cones, leaves, Spruce and pine needles, tree seeds etc, you do not want to use an internal coupler. Why? Because it is going to snap inside. There's going to be this big obstruction inside the pipe and you're going to end up with debris building up right where it snaps inside the pipe. So for roof runoff systems downspouts always use an external coupler.
