Kathiani MP Robert Mbui has criticized the Kenya Kwanza government, for defiance of court orders. The legislator cites the Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority's disregard for court orders, suspending implementation of the Finance Act, 2023. EPRA amended fuel prices, after a court order that suspended implementation of the finance act.
Mbui has lauded Busia Senator Okiya Omtata’s case against the finance bill, which led to a suspension by the court.
