The Frost Guard is a valve which protects the Truma boiler from damage potentially caused by ice in the system. It does this by dumping the water from the RV when the internal temperature drops below 3C and prevents water from being put into the system until the internal temperature goes above 7C. This means that an RV may have to be preheated internally before water can be put into the system.
