World Trade Organisation members have agreed to engage in text-based discussions on the TRIPs waiver for COVID-19 vaccines and treatments, according to reports. Further discussions will take place on the 17th of June ahead of a General Council meeting in July. The European Union, United Kingdom, and Australia remain opposed to the waiver.
