This is the best National Highway (NH) route to go to Goa from Hyderabad in car.

This route will skip Chola & Amboli ghats as roads in Chola & Amboli ghats are very bad.

Stretch 1: BHEL to Solapur - NH65 - 270 kms, it will take 4.5 hours with 15 mins break.
TEA Stop: You can stop at Famous Team Point at Peddapur or Noor Dhaba at Humnabad
BREAKFAST / LUNCH Stop: Kamat in Solapur

Stretch 2: Solapur to Sangli - NH204A - 200 kms, can be covered in 3 hours, road is super good with very less traffic.

Stretch 3: Sangli to Belgavi – NH 160 & NH48, 130 km, this is a narrow highway, but roads are good, can be covered in less than 3 hours without stops.
LUNCH Stop: The Tamarind Veg Restaurant in Chikodi. Most economical and tasty veg restaurant.

Stretch 4: Belgavi to Khanapur to Londa to Panaji – NH748, Till Londa it will be straight road, Ghat road starts from Londa. 150 Kms, can be covered in 4 hours. Road is good. You won’t face any pot holes.

From Belgavi - If you deviate to the shortcuts shown by Google, you will end up with very bad roads with big pot holes. I’m sure you will regret if you take shortcuts
