THE PRO-RUSSIAN so-called Donetsk People's Republic has claimed that it has taken out Ukrainian soldiers near Donetsk airport using UAVs.
The footage appears to show a drone dropping a bomb on Ukrainian soldiers. They can then be seen retreating to a foxhole.
The footage then apparently cuts to another bomb being dropped on Ukrainian soldiers in a trench. One soldier appears to be particularly injured. He stops moving before the footage ends.
The images were obtained from the People's militia of the Donetsk People's Republic(DPR) on Monday, 5th September, along with a statement claiming that the images show how "fighters of the Sparta battalion sniper to destroy the living enemy in the area of the Donetsk airport with the help of strike UAVs. The enemy has dead and wounded, in the frame you can see how one of the Ukrainian militants cowardly escapes, leaving the wounded brothers to die."
