A full journey on the Class 315 units between London Liverpool Street to Shenfield stopping at all stations along the way (Bethnal Green excluded cause that's a totally different line). These trains used to operate the said service between London Liverpool Street and Shenfield (aka the Shenfield Metro) but in the past, they also did services to Southend Victoria, Chingford, Romford to Upminster branch, Enfield Town, Cheshunt and Hertford East both via Tottenham Hale and Seven Sisters. They last worked on Gidea Park peak services from Liverpool Street high level (Mainline) ever since the Elizabeth Line started running through the Pudding Mill Portal next to the DLR Station of Pudding Mill Lane since the 315s can't go that way. Filmed onboard 315853 with 315838 trailing on the 2W30 1815 London Liverpool Street to Shenfield back on 10th May 2022. 315856, the unit I rode on the Class 315 farewell tour on November 26th and the final service on December 9th has been preserved.
For 42 years, they have been with us on the GEML until the very end.
