Namibia And Botswana To Build A Multi Billion 5 GW Solar Project - Namibia and Botswana have signed an agreement to jointly develop a solar project of up to 5,000 megawatts capacity. The Memorandum of Intent was virtually signed between the governments of Botswana and Namibia for the implementation of the project, earlier this month. According to a report by Afrik21, Both countries have already received support from the International Finance Corporation , the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development, the African Development Bank, as well as the US government's Power Africa initiative.
