4,500 years ago in Egypt, coming from the West of the Nile valley, a confederation of warrior tribes menace the most powerful empire of Ancient Times : the Pharaohs. Terrorized ancient Egyptians call these dreadful warriors living in the Western Desert and Cyrenaica (current Benghazi region, modern Libya): the Tehenu or Tjehenu (" التنحو ") , Temehu or Tjemehu (" التمحو ") , Meshwesh (" الماشواش ")x( "زعماء ما العظام "). Battle after battle, war after war, over centuries, they depict these hostile tribesmen on the walls of their various temples, burial chambers and monuments. Historians (W. Perrie, O. Bates, K. Kitchen, etc.) call these fierce warlords of Ancient Times the " Eastern Libyans " ancestors of Imazighen Libya, current berber populations living in Libya. Portraits of these Estern Libyans are found notably in the following sites in Egypt and various museum: the Tomb of Pharaoh Seti I 1294 --1279 BC Tomb KV 17 Room No. 5 Book of the Gates : The four races of mankind Valley of the Kings Thebes - Luxor, Egypt | Pharaoh Ramses III 1186 - 1154 BC, Tomb KV 11 Valley of the Kings & Temple of Medinet Habu & Excavations at Tell al Yehudia | Pyramid of Pharaoh Sahure 2487 - 2475 B.C Scene from the Causeway, Pyramid complex at Abusir, fragment property of Neues Museum ÄM 21782, Berlin, Germany | Tomb of Anen Chancellor of Pharaoh Amenhotep III 1391 -1352 B.C Theban necropolis Tomb TT 120 Thebes - Luxor, Egypt | Tomb of Ken-Amon / Qenamun Royal Steward of Pharaoh Amenhotep II 1428 -1401 B.C Tomb TT 93 Valley of the Nobles, Thebes, Egypt & The Metropolitan Museum, New York.
