In the name of loan waiver, Congress party is cheating the farmers of the country, said Prime Minister Narendra Modi while addressing a public meeting in Uttar Pradesh. PM was here to inaugurate several development projects. He said Congress didn't fulfil its promise of farm loan waiver in ten days in Karnataka state. Six months have passed, but farmers haven't yet received loan waiver. The Prime Minister also said that in year 2008, Congress promised loan waiver but instead of loan waiver for 6 lakh farmers, it offered loan waiver to just 60,000 farmers across the country.
