Yikes. That coffee ain't gonna taste great.
But there are 2 main reasons why this can occur; the first one being grind size. If your coffee is too fine, it can restrict the flow of water through the coffee puck so much that it results in an over extracted shot. Not what we want. If this is the case, simply coarsen up the grind, dispose of the first basket worth of coffee after adjusting the grind, then run another shot, and notice the difference!
