The Beatles got their start in humble beginnings, imitating some of their favourite skiffle songs and then rock 'n' roll songs when they replaced skiffle as the most popular genre of music. The group travelled across Europe in pursuit of success in all of its different lineups and formations. They travelled to Hamburg, where they gained experience giving performances that lasted up to 12 hours. Of course, they received some chemical support, but that is an other story.
