Sailors who appeared to shoot at Orcas in the Strait of Gibraltar have been stopped and searched by Spanish authorities. An investigation is underway, according to Europa Press.

A video circulated on social media shows those on board shooting at the animals. 

The footage was captured by passengers nearby on a whale watching vessel. Lewis Stagnetto of the Nautilus Project says it's not certain whether this is the first time this type of action has been taken in the area, but it's the first time it's been caught on camera.
