The winners in the seventh edition of the Frontiers of Knowledge Awards collected their prizes this evening in the Marqués de Salamanca Palace, Madrid headquarters of the BBVA Foundation, at a ceremony where climate change and extreme inequality were singled out as the foremost challenges facing society. Platform speakers at the event were Francisco González, BBVA Foundation President, and Emilio Lora-Tamayo, President of the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC).
