Quite unknown Si-fi game from Cryo Interactive from 1998. The game looks and feels totally late '90 in its sci-fi design. The weak spot is the main character Stan. You don't see or hear him in conversations, he only pops up in cinematics. Which makes it difficult to sympethise with him.
Still, the world and supporting characters are fun to explore.

STORY
Players play as Stan Gonzo, who receives a will from his father, whom he has never before met. Stan assumes his role as leader of the largest cyber technology company, the Kanary, and tries to unravel how his dad died, who he was, and what to do next.
The game starts when Stan is already sitting in his office in the Kanary where a police officer asks if he has any information to further the investigation into his father's murder.

TECHNICAL NOTES
- I pasted the content of the original CD in a folder on the HD and just played from there in Windows 10. No installation needed.
- For more background-info you have acces to 'GalaxyNet', ZeroZone's version of Internet. For this application, Cryo used Off-the-shelf software, the now outdated Macromedia's 'Director.' In short, modern PC's don't like it...
- You can skip the GalaxyNet-parts to complete the game, but I wanted to include it in my playhrough to give you the whole story, because the characters don't explain much of the world they're living in. For these parts, I used PCem + Win98.
