Welcome to Bourbon Bill's Pirate Bar, where today we're diving into the mysterious depths of the high seas to uncover the legendary history and concoction of the Bahama Mama cocktail – the drink that's so good, even Blackbeard would trade his treasure for a sip!
🍹 The Bahama Mama, a tropical elixir fit for the bravest of buccaneers, has a history as rich and vibrant as a parrot's plumage. Legend has it that this delightful libation was first crafted by a notorious pirate mixologist known as Captain Shiver-Me-Timbers during a particularly festive luau on a hidden Caribbean island. Rumor has it, he danced the night away with a peg leg and a coconut bra, leaving his crew in awe of his swashbuckling mixology skills.
Actually, there are two theories, one it was created in an island bar in Bimini, the more credible theory is it was created in the late 1950's or early 1960's at the Nassau Hilton Beach Bar. Either way, it is really tasty!

Ingredients:
• 2 oz. Coconut Rum
• 2 oz. Dark Rum
• 1/2 oz. Kahlua
• 1/2 oz. Grenadine
• 1 oz. Pineapple Juice
• 1 oz. Orange Juice
• Orange slice and cherry for garnish

1. Shiver your timbers and find a cocktail shaker.
2. Add ice to the shaker – the colder, the better, just like the icy stare of Davy Jones.

5. Strain your creation hurricane or highball glass filled with ice, as if you're burying treasure on a deserted island.
