Today we take an in depth look at the Uprise 30 from Lowe Alpine. This is the first pack in my huge pack shootout. Many, many more are on the way. We discuss the good and the bad with this pack. This is a pack suited for a high speed climber who isn't going to be spending much time hanging around and getting cold. The kit carried in this pack needs to be kept light to keep this pack comfortable. The biggest takeaways from this pack are that the pack can expand quite a bit. It feels larger then a 30 liter pack. The pack has just the right amount of lash points. The pack may have some durability issues in the lashing points on the front of the pack. For the right application, this is a very good pack and remains one of my favorite in the quiver.
Thank you so much for watching!
