Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has welcomed Russian President Vladimir Putin in Istanbul. The two leaders launched the TurkStream pipeline and also held talks on regional conflicts. Following the meetings, the two leaders called for a ceasefire to be implemented in Libya.
"We believe that exchange of attacks and use of force by any party do not contribute to finding solutions to the complex problems in the Middle East," said President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin in a joint statement.
