This was a pretty intense moment that I recall taking me many iterations to get right. To be honest, there are parts that were never quite right for me. When looking back on old shots it’s easy to pick apart the execution, little things here and there that you wish you could go back and fix, but the question I try to ask myself is “Did it connect?”
Did the animation serve the story and did it connect with the audience? If it did then you’ve done it right …even if you could have used a few more weeks to polish.
