STORYLINE:
Israeli troops fired rubber bullets into the air to disperse angry stone-throwing youths in the West Bank town of Jenin on Thursday.
The action was part of an Israeli military crackdown which has lasted more than a week and follows a suicide bombing in Jerusalem in which 21 people were killed.
In retaliation, Israel killed Hamas leader Ismail Abu Shanab in the first of three missile strikes last Thursday, prompting militant groups to formally call off a ceasefire.
