Rick Randell (real name Rocco Gaeta) started singing at an early age and formed a Doo-Wop group in High School that went on to record a number of records in the early sixties as both 'Rick and The Rockers' and 'Rick and The Randells'. Although never having any chart success, he also released many solo recordings including a version of the famous Frank Sinatra song "Young At Heart". This great upbeat track "When I Was A Kid" came towards the end of his career when he was with MGM Records. From my own personal collection.
