Well my son wanted a Scaler but instead of buying one I converted an old Tamiya TA02 into one. With great results I might add. Its not finished yet with the body still needing to be mounted and some tuning. Maybe some longer shocks, not to get it higher off the ground but to increase the travel on the upper end of the suspension.

The Diffs were locked as well. The front was locked using a fourth planetary gear wedged between two of the others and the rear had the diff balls removed and two rubber washers inserted.

The Center Drive shaft is for an SCX10 but I installed a longer hex rod to get it longer.
