Sev Tameta nu Shak is an all-time favourite which is basically spicy and tangy tomato curry generously topped with sev. This one surely is super quick recipe too, yet is a 10/10 in flavours and textures.
|| Ingredients ||
4 TBSP Oil
1 TSP Cumin Seeds
1/4 TSP Asafoetida
1 TBSP Garlic Chutney
3 Medium Size Tomatoes
1 TBSP Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder
Salt to Taste
1/2 TSP Turmeric Powder
1/2 TBSP Coriander Cumin Powder
1 Cup Water
3/4 Cup Sev
2 TBSP Coriander
|| Method ||
* Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds and let it splutter.
* Add asafoetida.
* Next add garlic chutney (techha chutney) and cook for a minute.
* Now add tomatoes and salt. Cook for another 2 minutes or until tomatoes are soften.
* Add dry ingredients like red chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander cumin powder.
* Mix everything well and add 1 cup of water.
* Cover the lid for 5 minutes and let it cook on medium heat.
* Sprinkle sev and mix.
* Coriander and cook for 2 minutes more and done.
* Serve hot.
Note: Same method and you can add sev instead of masala boondi.
