Rising Rape Cases: NCRB data reveals 2,42,038 rape cases in 7 years - Are Indian Daughters Safe under Modi Government? Watch #KadveSach (The Bitter Truth) with Virendrasingh Ghunawat (Episode - 9)
Soon after the Sushant Singh Rajput's death case, now the limelight has shifted to Hathras in Uttar Pradesh. Heavy Bandobast is seen in Hathras village to Delhi-Uttar Pradesh border to handle the political tamasha led by Congress party. What is getting ignored is the crucial data revealed by National Crime Record Bureau in its 2019 report that - in any every one hour, four women are getting raped in this country, taking the toll to 32033 rape cases in 2019 only. In last seven years from 2013-2019, India has seen 2,42,038 rape cases compared to 1,54,250 cases between 2006-2012 in UPA era. Shockingly, in 2019, with 5,997 rape cases, Rajasthan ranks number one and not Uttar Pradesh. But when crime against women is calculated (overall including rapes) than Uttar Pradesh is positioned as number one with 59,000 cases.
So technically, the congress party needs to tighten its own administration first in Rajasthan then make allegations against Uttar Pradesh. And shockingly, it is not only Dalit or Scheduled Caste women are getting raped but crime against Scheduled Tribe women has gone up by 26.5 per cent.

In this latest episode, senior journalist Virendrasingh Ghunawat tried to do some deep analysis of NCRB's crime against women data and found its not only Uttar Pradesh but even Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and few others States are equally responsible for the present state of affairs in India, thus - creating a situation where in every 16 minutes, one woman is getting raped. Shame for the country.
