VW has its sights set on the premium car market and the Volkswagen Arteon is a convincing effort – offering a real alternative to models from Mercedes, BMW and Audi. The VW CC replacement a confident-looking car, with an eye-catching nose and smooth lines, and it’s packed with hi-tech systems including near-autonomous driving modes. The engine line-up is very strong, with the two petrol and two diesels all offering plenty of power. While some rivals are more focused on driver enjoyment, the Arteon is an effortless cruiser that’s bound to earn a spot on many driveways.
