My second full distance Iron Man. Going to this race I was not fully prepared physically. However, I was prepared mentally. These long-endurance triathlon races are just as much mental as they are physical and the mental fortitude that I have been cultivating over the last five years allowed me to finish this race in a record time. There have been many challenges and setbacks along the way but staying mentally strong is the foundation for consistently making progress forward.
In this video, I recap how The race went for me. Even though it wasn’t pretty and I did have moments of weakness I remained composed and finished strong! Very very proud of my time I’m glad that it’s over, time to start training for the next one, here we go!
