*How To Go - There are a few options available on hand:
1. Go to Kuakata directly by Bus (8 hours)
2.Take a launch/Ship to Barishal and then take a bus to Kuakata ( total 12 hours)
3.Take a launch/Ship to Patuakhali and then take a bus to Kuakata (Total 12-13 hours)

1. Go Directly By Bus - Few years back it was not easy to go kuakata but now its very easy to go there. some bus services running there. Kuakata express, 7 Delux, Royal and Sugandha Paribahan. More Buses are available at Gaptoli and Saydabadh bus stops.

2.Take a launch/Ship to Barishal Or Patuakhali - you will have to hop on a launch or water vessel from Dhaka towards Patuakhali or Barishal. you can spend an amazing night on the Launch enjoying the cool breeze of the river and a clear starry sky.Launches leave three times daily from the Dhaka to Patuakhali/Barishal – 5.30, 6.30 and 7.00 PM.
From Patuakhali or Barishal you need to get on a bus. It will take around 3-4 hours from Barishal and 2-3 hours from Patuakhali, Tickets are around 180-200 Tk from Barishal.

*Hotel Cost - In Kuakata You can get comfortable rooms in very a low price but price may vary on occation and season. Non AC rooms start around 500 tk per night never forget to ask for discount. here is some name of hotels

*Location Info - Kuakata is in Kalapara Upazila, Patuakhali District.It is about 320 kilometers (200 mi) south of Dhaka.Kuakata offers a full view of the sunrise and sunset from the same white sandy beach in the water of the Bay of Bengal. Locally known as Shagor Kannya (Daughter of Ocean), the long strip of dark, marbled sand stretches for about 18 kilometers (11 mi). The long, wide beach at Kuakata has a typical natural setting. This sandy beach has gentle slopes into the Bay of Bengal. Kuakata is also a sanctuary for migratory winter birds. The name Kuakata originated from the word 'kua' — the Bengali word for "well" which was dug on the seashore by the early Rakhine settlers in quest of collecting drinking water. They landed on the Kuakata coast in the 18th century after being expelled from Arakan (Myanmar) by the Mughals. Afterwards, it has become a tradition of digging wells in the neighborhoods of Rakhaine tribes for water.
