How cold does it actually get here in Calgary?
Yes, it can get cold, but it’s not that horrific DAMP east coast cold. Plan for extended winter cold periods, with the odd “cold snap”, but don’t worry, the sunny days and seasonal Chinooks really help out! Bottom line, you’ll be buying a jacket, but with the outdoors lifestyle we have to offer, the odd “cold day” won’t deter you from enjoying winter!
