While working on the boat, I experienced a mishap when the ladder slipped, causing me to fall approximately 4.5 feet to the ground. Thankfully, I escaped serious injury. The boat was elevated more than usual as I had taken it off the trailer. This incident taught me a valuable lesson, leading me to construct additional steps to prevent such accidents in the future.
