New updated look for SONAX Brilliant Shine Detailer, same great performance and results! The only difference that I can detect between this version and the older one, is the color of the bottle and the light blue tint to the formula. I've heard reports of an easier application and slicker surface, these aren't results that I'm noticing in my tests with this particular bottle. Once again, I would designate Brilliant Shine Detailer as a heavily impressive spray sealant protectant, it's one of the most hydrophobic spray products on the market.

One of the things I mention in the video is the ability to dilute Brilliant Shine Detailer(BSD) with other spray detailers/sealants. Due to the less than super slick paint surface left behind by BSD, users went out to see if they could get a slicker and easier application while maintaining the outstanding water beading left behind. One of the popular mixes is a 50:50 dilution of BSD with Chemical Guys Hybrid V7 spray sealant. My initial results with this mix is it works great, I'm noticing very aggressive water beading while leaving behind a slicker paint surface.

In my opinion, this is one of the most significant detailing products. It's just in another league with regards to performance and price, and there does not appear to be other comparable products using this type of chemistry to achieve that incredibly hydrophobic surface which draws many users to this product. At 750ml for $17 and the ability for it to dilute well with other products, this is the benchmark that all other products should be compared against. The only thing Sonax needs to do is bring over to the U.S. a spray detailer product giving us great beading and slickness without us having to mix it up ourselves!
