We tackled a huge project of cleaning the interior carpet on our O'Day 28 sailboat. This boat has a lot of carpet along the side walls and on the ceiling in some location. Aa section of carpet was soaked with a squirt bottle filled with 1-part water to 2-part mold killing cleaner. Then used a brush to scrub the carpet until it lathered up. Next the hand wand on our carpet shampooer was used to suck up the extra cleaning solution. Last the carpet was rinsed 3 times to get the remaining dirt and cleaning solution extracted.
