this is a review of my 1000 lumen WF-502B flashlight with a cree XM-L cree led inside!
this flashlight is very floody and bright! it lights 150 yards away easly at the medium and high mode! on low mode, it will light stuff 50 yards away. low mode is very comparable to a 9 or 12 led flashlight.
the battery that powers this small beast is a 18650 3.7V lithium-ion battery. you can buy them online or pull them out of a laptop battery. I recommend high quality battery's like Tenergy 2600mah, AW, Redalast, and others. just stay away from xxx-fire batterys.
the reflector is an OP (orange peeled) aluminium reflector. (update: now I see most of them with smooth reflectors which are better for this type of led)
the cons about this light:
breaks very often, most of the time the fix is simple and easy.

a bit cheap feel, and poorly designed, and not nearly as durable mag-light or surefire.
the light output is actually more like 400-600 LM, but still plently bright.
