Today let’s talk about Neem Tea.
Neem Tea is an infusion is used for healing purposes from ancient times, especially in Ayurveda
Neem is centuries old and is still amazing . First recorded indication of its use is around 4500 years old. Neem is also known as the “healer of all ailments.”
If you not a fan of Neem Tea? Trust me , You aren't alone. The leaves of neem are naturally bitter and so does the tea taste. It is an acquired palate. When I started drinking neem tea I would sometimes end up throwing up but gradually I convinced my mind that bitter is better for the body . I am Human so I can change to like things which are good for my body .
Neem is known for anti bacterial , anti viral , anti fungal , anti inflammatory , antiseptic properties and is a powerful blood purifier
Neem is excellent for your hair health as it helps to maintain the shine we all love.
It also helps to combat pesky pimples and provides relief in skin diseases like HS , psoriasis , eczema , acne etc
You can brew neem tea either by using Whole Fresh Neem leaves , Neem tea bags, or Neem Leaf Powder.
There are many ways to make this tea depending on what we use for the infusion. Below is one of the possible way.
1. Take water in a saucepan and Bring it to boil
2. Add the leaves
3. Let it boil and allow to sit atleast for 5 minutes
4. Strain the liquid.
5. If you find this too bitter then you may add a sweetener of your choice or you add lemon juice – again optional.
Even Sadhguru in one of his videos explains how consuming neem could be beneficial in controlling cancerous cells in the body and can help one lead a disease-free life.
