Arriva north east Wright Streetlite with a Euro 6 Daimler engine operating the arriva MAX service X1 from Crook or Tow Law to Darlington via Bishop Auckland,Tindale,Shildon,Redworth and Faverdale.

Arriva Darlington bought 5 of these Streetlites in March 2015 for MAX X1 as it's upgrade to replace the Pulsars which used to run on and wore the branding X1 the best one.
NK09 BPF 1404/NK09 BPO 1405/NK09 BPU 1406 and NK09 BPV 1407.
In 2015 1404 1405 and 1406 got repainted and refurbished into MAX for services X66 and X67 but 1406 got repainted and refurbished into MAX spec for a spare vehicle for Darlington but is still used on a regular basis.
1407 didn't get repainted and refurbished into MAX and it's still in its original livery.
In 2015 NK09 BPF BPO and BPV got transferred from Darlington to Stockton depot but 1406 is still at Darlington as a spare.
3 of the Streetlites are in the Euro 5 Cummins engine which are NK15 AAE 1590 NK15 AAF 1591 and NK15 AAJ 1592 but the 2 others are in the optional Euro 6 Daimler engine being NK15 AAN 1593 and NK15 AAO 1594.
Streetlites are very unreliable but I've heard that the Daimler engine Streetlites have proven probably one of the most unreliable buses at Darlington.
This was my 1st ever ride on a Streetlite with the Euro 6 Daimler engine.
