Tip #1
- Cheap way to fly
Spirit Airlines is very well known for its cheap airline ticket prices! If you are looking to travel on a budget, Spirit is the airline for you! Spirit frequently runs deals on their website for discounted ticket rates. Saving money on airline travel can allow for more money to be spent at your destination!
Tip #2
- Bag Size Requirements
When flying with Spirit, the bare fare ticket comes with the seat on the airplane and one personal item to bring on your travels. If you are looking to bring more than one bag, additional bag charges apply. The personal item must be 18 in x 14 in x 8 in.
Tip #3
- Get tickets at the airport, can be cheaper
One thing I didn't know about Spirit is that if you are able to go to the airport, you can potentially purchase cheaper tickets than the rate online!
Tip #4
- Flight times can change after purchase
After purchasing my Spirit ticket for a flight home, there have been instances where the departure time has changed. This has not been an issue in the past, but I can see how it could be inconvenient for those traveling on vacation or that have a schedule they need to stick to!
Tip #5
- Generally reliable
There has only been one instance where my Spirit travels have not gone as expected. However, overall I have had a very enjoyable time flying with Spirit Airlines and appreciate their low ticket prices to get me to and from my destination!
