In Assam, there was no let up from flood water. Assam State Disaster Management Authority said over 1.05 lakh people are reeling under the flood in 138 villages in Lakhimpur, Golaghat, Morigaon, Barpeta and Jorhat districts.
Brahmaputra is flowing above the danger mark at Nematighat in Jorhat, Dhubri town, and at Numaligarh in Golaghat.
