The trimmer blades are made of plastic sheets hence is breakable and it can be replaced with iron sheets. The connecting rod should be strong enough to bear the load hence a tough material is desired. This video is only a demo. Always use protective gears to avoid accidents. unplug the power chord before maintenance/repair works.
