What’s good everyone for this episode we spray some water to start building up the ice. Although we had a lack of help, we got enough layers down to bring the Zamboni out to start rapidity building up the ice.
Important things to note is to make sure to keep the hosing moving or it could melt into the ice. Again, the hotter the water the better. Switch your runs around and change or stagger your overlap points to help lay water down evenly. Also best to start with the spray bar to seal lines before moving to the fire hose nozzle. The nozzle will get more water on the ice as well as lay down water more evenly.
The next video will be a compilation of the entire process. Then we will start getting the Zam and edger ready for the season. After that, it is the daily grind again.
Questions and comments are much appreciated.
