The first Truffle Melbourne event was at the Caulfield Racecourse on the 15 & 16 July. Here's a 'taste' of how it went down, there seemed to be happy customers and lots of truffle. I was apprehensive when the first sign I saw was for the dreaded synthetic truffle oil, the free 'taster' inside also had truffle oil but it was the real deal so I was cheered a little. A Madame Truffles truffle toastie (with extra truffle) then set me up for an enjoyable afternoon.
